John Gardner: Institutions Need to Lead/Teach Collaboration in Support of Students

A quiet and focused audience listened intently as John N. Gardner discussed how collaboration can improve our personal lives, our higher education institutions, and our world.
“If we collaborated more, we would develop more humane public policies, there would be less crime, less aggressive behavior problems. We would have less stress and that means we would live longer. Greater levels of collaboration would result in more opportunities and more peace,” said Mr. Gardner. “And colleges are the place to teach students how to live that way.”
